Bisphenol-A(BPA)는
페놀과 아세톤을 촉매 존재 하에 축합 반응하여 얻어지는 백색의 결정 고체로서
2,2-bis(p-hydroxyphenyl)propane, 4,4-isopropylidene
diphenol, Diphenylpropandiol이라고도 하며, 폴리카보네이트,
페놀릭, 폴리에스테르, 기타 수지 원료로 이용되고 있으며, 한 분자의 말단에
반응성이 우수한 두 개의 hydroxyl group을 가지고 있어 분자량이
